Kathryn & Tobi: Published a Child Welfare Textbook

Dear SWEAP Users,

We hope that you are all doing well as we near the end of the Spring 2021 semester. It has been a challenging year, for sure.

As many of you know, in addition to leading the SWEAP Team, Tobi and Kathryn are actively teaching, researching and writing about various aspects of social work practice related to the child welfare system. We are thrilled to announce the recent publication of Child Welfare: Preparing Social Workers for Practice in the Field. This text is specifically designed to meet the needs of undergraduate and graduate social work programs to prepare our students for practice in the Child Welfare field.

The flier, linked HERE, has a summary of the key unique characteristics of this text. In addition to those listed, the text is available in paperback, and thus designed to be affordable for our students.

We’d be honored if you would request an exam copy, and consider adopting the text for your program. If you would like to talk to either of us about the book, let us know. We’d be happy to answer your questions, or even talk to your students.

Sincerely,

Kathryn (Kathryn@sweapinstruments.org)

Tobi (Tobi@sweapinstruments.org)
